Don't know how the people of China are going to be able to afford a Prius when master's and doctorate degree holders in the major cities earn $3,000 US a year (http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/english/doc/2005-02/22/content_418101.htm) , but it is good news to see that the Prius is going to start being produced outside of Japan.  I wonder when they will start producing them here in the US?
