Was playing Halo 2 on XBOX Live last night and got into a game where you plant the bomb in the oposing base, and they started using the standby bug. It was so irritating and lame. I hope that the feedback that I left gets taken seriously and they ban them from XBOX Live. Here is the game stats where the jerks did the standby. They are the blue team. Please torture these dweebs whenever you see them. Only thing I know to do is to hide the bomb at the end when they start doing this to hopefully make them quit.

Ouch....they are saying that gas may break the record all time high this summer. I'm not worried as I get about 50mpg in my Prius driving 40miles each way to work on regular 87 octane. I'm guessing adding another passenger and all of the travel bags could drop me to 45mpg, but hey it's alot better than the 15 my Tundra gets!!

Looks like the Toyota Prius sold 7,078 for the month of February. Toyota also did very well over all selling 163,059 vehicles. |

OK, I just figured out how to add the RSS feed of the last Halo 2 game that I played. I'm putting it at the top of the main page for now until I figure out how to move it to the side. I may also put it over on the RSS Feeds page. Cools stuff!!!! |

Looks like the latest rumors of the next generation of the XBOX seem to be pointing to it being named XBOX 360. It is supposed to come in multiple configurations with one option being a removable hard drive. I don't like there being the option of having or not having a hard drive, unless they include some sort of flash storage in the lowest end box that can be used for game saves, music, etc. With out that, the developers will only program for the lowest common denominator and then we wouldn't get all the cool stuff that a hard drive can bring to the table. I mean, look what happened with the PS2 hard drive add on. Only one cool game, then nothing.

Sales tax to replace US income tax |

Had a good discussion with a couple of contractors here at work during my lunch hour about replacing the US income tax with a sales tax. I think it would work much better than our current system with all of it's loop holes. Just think, if you exclude taxing food and basic living needs, it would help the poor who spend a larger percentage of their income on those items. The rich naturally spend more money, so they would in turn spend more money. We should also not return the tax to tourists and visitors to the US. They are using services that our tax dollars provide while they are here. This would be the most fair tax in my opinion. Hopefully our President Bush's tax advisory panel will choose this when the committee reports back to him. I like the FairTax plan, but think that the poor should also pay, not get rebates. You can check it out from the link below.

Looks like while GM and Ford are having problems, Toyota is going to try to build 75% of all of it's vehicles sold in the US here.....wonder if Ford and GM meet that goal themselves? http://www.newsisfree.com/iclick/i,73345389,11779,f/ |

I can't tell you how much I love the cruise control in my Prius. It is amazing how it holds onto a speed and doesn't vary. I have owned nine Toyota's, and this one has the best cruise that I have ever seen. Works like a champ. No problems. Can't complain.......can you tell I like it? |

Well, I'm almost done with tank 3 of gas in my Prius and now have over 1,000 miles on it. After the first 1,000 miles I can confidently say that I fall more in love with this car every time I drive it. If I want to totally ignore what is going on with the multidisplay, I can just drive and it still gets good gas mileage all the while I can know in the back of my mind that it is polluting far less than almost any other vehicle on the road. If I want to get all geeky and try to get the best mileage I can, I can get well over 50mpg. I'm just amazed at how it all works together so seamlessly and still has so much power available when I really want it. This car is definitely an extension of my geek personality so much so that I can't wait to go and drive it some more. |
